staffing the chamber
FOR COMMUNITY. FOR BUSINESS. FOR YOU.
Executive Assistant/Finance Administration
Trisha Watkins, born in Michigan, came to Blytheville as a small child and has made it her home off and on for over forty years. In between Blytheville stints, she lived five years in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Fairfield, California. Trisha spent seventeen years in steel related businesses, including ten year at JMS Processing. Joining the Chamber in 2016, Trisha serves as a jack-of-all-trades with particular emphasis on money management tasks. She holds an associate's degree in office management from Arkansas Northeastern College, is a former member of ESA, a graduate of Blytheville Leadership Institute and has worked through the years as a volunteer for the Haven and the Blytheville Humane Society. Recently, Trisha has taken on a major volunteer effort through her training with CASA--she is a certified Court Appointed Special Advocate--where she supports the rights of children whose parents are in the criminal justice system.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she earned a degree in psychology and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. A native of Blytheville and graduate of high school in neighboring Gosnell, AR, she has spent her life in the area and is well connected with people in all professions. Throughout college, Lauren worked as an assistant manager in retail. It was there that she developed an appreciation for good customer service skills--a trait that serves her well at the Chamber. Lauren has also been an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Haven Wood. She is a recent graduate of the Chamber's Blytheville Leadership Institute, which led her to a new volunteer effort at the tourist attraction, Lights of the Delta.
