staffing the chamber
FOR COMMUNITY. FOR BUSINESS. FOR YOU.
Alicia, a native of southeast Arkansas, is a graduate of the University of Arkansas. She holds both BS and MS degrees and has spent most of her career as a classroom teacher. Notably, during her teaching tenure at Armorel School District, she directed the well-know EAST program, where her students achieved statewide recognition for their outstanding projects, as well as national notoriety when they created a new foot for Peg the duck! Peg acquired new mobility when EAST students designed a her foot and produced it on 3-D printer! Alicia is active in the community where she is a member of First United Methodist Church and P.E.O. She also is married to a Blytheville native and she and husband Justin have a handsome young son, Hayes.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she earned a degree in psychology and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. A native of Blytheville and graduate of high school in neighboring Gosnell, AR, she has spent her life in the area and is well connected with people in all professions. Throughout college, Lauren worked as an assistant manager in retail. It was there that she developed an appreciation for good customer service skills--a trait that serves her well at the Chamber. Lauren has also been an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Haven Wood. She is a recent graduate of the Chamber's Blytheville Leadership Institute, which led her to a new volunteer effort at the tourist attraction, Lights of the Delta.
